I recently lost my dad and I’m really struggling. I’m a child of south Asian immigrants and my dad struggled with severe alcoholism. I grew up resenting him and was quite angry because I just wanted him to love us enough to stop. He has now passed away due and I find myself struggling so much with how strained our relationship was and I worry he may have never known how much I loved him. How do I cope?
